Organic Chicken Drumsticks (each)

D’Artagnan’s chicken will remind you what chicken is supposed to taste like. Raised on family farms in Pennsylvania Dutch country, these free-range chickens are given organic vegetarian feed and humanely raised to 8 weeks of age (the norm is 5 or 6 weeks), for richer flavor. Drumsticks take well to many cooking methods: roasting, baking, frying, braising. If you’re grilling them, give them a quick sear over direct heat, then move to a cooler spot on the grill to finish so they cook through without burning on the inside.
